Includes:
1 Dozen Farm Eggs
1.7 oz Furikake
1 Head Black Garlic
Ingredients:
6 Farm Eggs
3 Garlic Cloves, peeled & crushed
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 cup Water
Pinch of Sugar (optional)
Furikake (to taste)
Toasted Sesame Oil (to taste)
Preparation:
Step 1: Gently lower eggs into a large saucepan of boiling water. When water returns to a gentle boil, cook 6 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a bowl of ice water and let cool for 5 minutes (eggs may still be a little warm). Remove eggs from ice water and peel.
Step 2: Combine Soy Sauce, Water, Garlic Cloves, and Sugar to an airtight container (large enough to hold your eggs and marinating liquid).
Step 3: Add peeled eggs to your soy mixture and marinate for 8-48 hours. Eggs can be marinated 2 days ahead as long as they are covered and chilled.
Step 4: Remove eggs from mixture and slice in half. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with furikake or sesame seeds. Enjoy with ramen, rice, or alone!
